Bangladesh: 10th Anniversary Trip!

Surfing The Nations is celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary with Bangladesh (que confetti and Bollywood music)! A team of 24 smiling faces will be leaving on April 8th to love this beautiful country and surf its waves. After arriving in the capital city of Dhaka, the team will make it’s way to the coastal city of Cox Bazar via 16 hour, wild bus ride. Once in Cox Bazar, the team will host a surf contest as well as a variety of outreaches in surrounding villages.

A lot of planning has gone into making this year’s trip EXTRA special. It could not have been done without the generosity of the individuals and corporate sponsors who have donated their time, efforts, and resources. A big thank you goes to Eric Arakawa, Surf Garage, Ron Maize, RV’s and John Carper for donating multiple boards towards the surf contest and the trip itself. Big Mahalos!

The team is also bringing water filters! Waves4Waters program is sending two water filters to plant in surrounding villages lacking clean water. Thank you Surfers Coffee Bar for your financial contributions!

If you’re on island, make sure to stop by and see these guys off to the adventure of a lifetime!
