Surf Art and The Surfer: Nov. 4 & 5, 2016

Are you an art enthusiast, wave seeker, shopaholic, or just can’t resist a delicious food truck?  Then we have your weekend plans covered. You’ll find all four of these and more at Surfing The Nations’ fourth annual Surf Art and The Surfer art festival. You’re not going to want to miss this unbelievable event!

On the 4th and 5th of November, 2016, Wahiawa will become the gathering place for some of Oahu’s top and emerging artists. This weekend is going to be jampacked with artists, musicians and vendors from all over the island, including Mark Brown, Luke Dekneef and Ron Artis II. Each night you will be inspired by watching some of your favorite artists like Danielle Groff and John Carper in action as they do live artwork.

We are excited to partner with Cobian again! Starting in October, when you buy designated Cobian sandals from HIC surf stores on Oahu, you will receive a free Surf Art and The Surfer t-shirt. A portion of your purchase will also go towards supporting STN’s programs!

Expand your mind with beautiful innovative art, while investing in Wahiawa’s local community: 10% of all the proceeds will go towards Surfing The Nations children’s program. Your contributions will also help build the Community Outreach Training Center, where classrooms and dance studios will keep local youth off the streets. Thus enabling them to gain confidence, realize their full potential, and have fun together.

Come to our festival, get immersed in the surf culture while enjoying the hustle and bustle of an epic festival. Hope to see you there!

I was just wondering how one might go about maybe donating art to the cause? I am a local resident, from Ohai Street, and I paint with acrylics. Lots of different things but I can definitely do some surfer art. Its too late for this year but for next year possibly? I would be happy to send some examples of my work. These would be 100% donations.

Got something to say?
