Surfing The Nations 3rd Bi-Annual Freedom Surf Camp
“To empower & equip the youth of Oahu to be a community of Surfers Giving Back.”
Ages 5-15 | Ali’i Beach Park | Thursday March 17th – Saturday March 19th
It’s time for the third bi-annual Freedom Surf Camp! During spring break March 17th-19th, Surfing The Nations will once again be hosting the Freedom Surf Camp at Ali’i Beach Park in Haleiwa. It will be three days filled with surf, crafts, friends, and fun games. The kids will learn about ocean safety, swim, surf and what it means to be a “Surfer Giving Back.”
During the camp, we will lead the kids to a beach cleanup, show them how to get stoked on the lifestyle of giving back, and encourage the kids to cheer each other on. We also want to encourage them to invest in their community and family.
Several of our volunteers are lifeguard and CPR certified and has done basic First Aid training. This will help us have as much fun as possible, with minimum amount of worry.
The overall cost of the Surf Camp will be $200. This includes a camp T-shirt, board rentals, swim, surf and ocean safety lessons, lots of fun activities and friendships that’ll last a lifetime.
This spring, we’ll also have the possibility for the children to participate in an overnight, March 18th-19th. It will be in Haleiwa, at a STN surfhouse, not far from Ali’i Beach Park for an additional fee of $30 (max. 15 children). Accompanied by chaperones, we’ll watch a surf movie, make a bonfire, and hang out together. We’ll provide supper, breakfast, and transportation. The overnight starts directly after the Surf Camp March 18th, and ends when the Surf Camp starts in the morning March 19th.
We are stoked for this camp and we’re excited to see you and your kids at there! Spots are limited, so apply today.
