This year marked Surfing The Nations tenth year of traveling to Bangladesh! Since 2005 this trip has been made annually, and anyone who has been a part of it would be quick to tell you that there is always a new surfing adventure awaiting in Bangladesh. In 2012, one lovely lady moved all the way from the Tibro, Sweden to Wahiawa, Hawaii. She arrived with the intention of staying for 3 months, but little did she know what was in store! Two years later, having completed both the Internship Program and the Surfers Leadership School, she now serves on staff as the Campus Life Coordinator, along with working as a barista at our Surfers Coffee Bar. No matter your age, you are never too young to start making a difference! Read below to see how the students and teachers of Christian Academy chose to make an impact! As a teenager, raising $4000 may seem like an impossible task - let alone raising it for a local non-profit organization! However, that is exactly what Christian Academy in Red Hill pledged to fundraise for the construction of our new Community Outreach and Training Center (COTC).
